Do Most people get along with their brothers and sisters??

Question

Since tonight most families are together or they aren't do people get along with their brothers and sisters or do you stay away with a 10 foot pole!?

i stay away but i have personal issues with my brothers that is not to go out into public so i have a reason otherwise i know a lot of people who love their siblings i ahve never been one of them though

I am the youngest of 4 & we all pretty close. I live closer 2 my sister than my brothers so I see her about once or twice a week. My brothers live 21/2 hrs from me so when I go visit my parents upstate I visit them as well!! I used 2 c them every weekend when they all lived together but 4 the past 4 yr (sick my dad got sick had heart attack & stroke & had 2 move w/ my brothers for physical therpy the day after Chrismas) I dont' see them as much as we would like!! I still call them every week but on vacation that's where I go!!
My husbands side of the family is real close as well!! We visit them at least 2x a month!!
That's 2 families that I know are close!! Merry Christmas!!

I have three sister and four brothers. Sure we but heads once in a while but for the most part we do get along. If not You don't want my dad to even hear all the fighting.

generally as adults we get along. But yeah in my situation I have to be very "wary" of what I say and stuff because my sister is a total hot head and blows up over just about anything.

Holiday stress also tends to make people a little nuts - which probably adds to the arguments.

yes, v do,like brothers n sisters.it's very funny if brothers n sisters r not closed to each other,as they r from the same family n stay together with parents everyday,even if they've quarrels or misundertandings,it w'd be resolved at the end of the day.

39 and a half foot pole for my sister, brother in law, and sister in law. Terrible people. My sister gave up her kids right before christmas, my brother in law treats people like crap and my 2 small children like crap, my sister in law agrees with him, and she's pregnant, I feel sorry for the baby.

Some of my brothers, yes. Some, no. You would think that as adults it would be a snap. Right. My brother is very jealous of my financial situation, and everything I say is wrong! It's hardly worth trying to maintain a relationship with him. It's all about jealously. Sad to say.

While growing up i always thought my brothers were a pain, and they thought i was too. My brothers are 7 and 6 years older than me too, so there was a big jealousy problem. Now that we are older though, we have each others backs and are totally cool with each other.

My brother spent his adolescence beating me and threatening to beat me.

My sister humiliated me in public and mercilessly scorned me in private.

I tried to do the "xmas" thing for a few years back in my early twenties but stopped when I would literally become sick during the drive. Migraines, knots in stomach, backache and heart palpatations.

I haven't had one telephone call from either of them for nearly 10 years. I just pretend they don't exist - wouldn't you?

Life is too short to fuss and worry about people who don't give you a second thought.
