Many reasons...

1. Genetic imperative, the DNA must be passed on

2. They are just horny jerks racking up a bodycount.

3. The woman becomes unbearable to be around.

4. She doesn't doo everything he wants.

5. She cheated first.

6. Dummy went to Vegas and believed the commercial.

7. He wants it more ofthe than she does.

8. Drinks over his limit at a party and gets stupid.

9. Low self esteem, and 'needs' acceptance.

10. Addiction.

11. Trying to raise money to pay for the wife's credit card.

12. He is vain to a fault, and cant stand changes in her.

13. Too stupid to realize that he has what many can only dream of.

14Might feel neglected or unwanted..usually its a miscommunication.

But then there are those who don't cheat. In control of their ... faculties. Nice easy going fellows. Too bad nobody wants them. Its the grimy stubbly,inked, and pierced, thug look thats going these days. Maybe if women didn't insist on converting 'bad boys' they might get lucky.

There are a lot of theories about this subject, and it all stems from instinct. Early man would mate with all the females in the tribe. The strongest man would take his pick, and the next would have his way, and so on and so forth. Some men say it is for them to actually feel attractive. If a guy can get a woman into bed, he thinks higher of himself,,, He feels better about himself only in the sense that he is desirable. I still feel it is instinct. It is very hard to take the animal out of a human. Without it, we become robots. This does not condone the act of cheating, but I think, it will show that human nature can over-ride intelligence.

James, I disagree with your reply... men don't necessarily have a higher libido than women. Women today are very demanding for sex. It's not only men that cheat. I've never done it, but come to think of it, i've been in a rship for about 3 months now and all is going well, but lastnight i dreamt i met a girl shortly after seeing my gf and we hit it off - and in my dream i had no problem making out with her, wonder if i'd actually do it? maybe i would. but anyway, 2 of my ex's cheated on me. I've learned to not give a phucking sh!t when that happens and dump them like excrement, and meet someone else straight away. Works fine!

It seems that not only men cheat but women also.From my experience the woman cheated more than the men.In either case its still very wrong.Most of the time the one cheating thinks its easier to cheat than to fix the problem in the relationship there in.They think its easier to walk away than to stay and work it out.

the good ones dont the others i blame on their parents for not teaching there kid when they have a chance that cheating is wrong and very hurtful, they have a huge sex drive and they never learned to control their snake in their pants or they get bored but that is never the girls fault, the guy needs to let the girl know they should be done if he starts feeling that way.

One reason anyone cheats is for a change of pace; something out of the ordinary. Also, attention from someone of the opposite sex when you're being taken for granted at home. Positive attention can make anyone stray.

It's not just men who cheat, women do too. Not that I have ever cheated, but if I had or would, it would be due to dissatisfaction and or unfulfillment of basic needs at home.

That is to say, my wife not doing her job as a wife. I do my best to always be pleasing to her physically, sexually, intimately and socially. 'Can't say that the efforts are necessarily reciprocated.

not all do. i did not but i got cheated instead. next time again i was cheated.

may be you got hurt the first time or may be second ----- but the third one you might get somebody good at heart - but if ever you 'll have to compromise with him for anything --- you will think -- - i got cheated all my life and now i have to compromise - screw that --- and you will find somebody to cheat on him too. he would get cheated and then he would cheat somebody because he has learned the game too.
we are all cheaters / liers/ backstabbers - and we all start with being nice but end up like them.
