I was friends with this guy who was going through a bad divorce. We would talk a lot about everything including what he was going through. Eventually after a couple of months, we started becoming more than friends. He was great to me and very sweet and kind. He knew what I wanted before I even asked. I would walk into a room and find him staring at me or he would cross the room just to be near me. Anyway, I told him that I understood that it was going to take sometime for him to deal with his emotions. After about 7 months, he just started being kinda cold. I thought that he never loved me and it broke my heart.
I found out that he got married again not that long ago to someone he did not know that long. From what I understand, he is miserable (never home and does not treat her like he treated me or his ex wife). I just found out that he asked a mutual friend for my phone number! Did he love me and realize his mistake? Did he just get scared by his feelings for me? Help!

I'm not going after him. I never did. He did all the chasing. And I was not involved with him until his marriage was already over. I'm not the kind of woman that would take someone's man like that.

Baby-doll, you don't know both sides of the story, concerning his present wife. I'd be very cautious. Maybe he did realize his mistake of passing you by. I guess anything is possible. If he wants to get something going with you again while he is still married, would you be able to trust him as a husband? Be cautious,my dear. Best of luck to you.

I know you love him but you cannot be a yo yo girl. Love hurts. I don't understand what made him turn cold. Bipolar? It is bizarre. You sounded like you were his crutch when he was emotionally weak, and for that you should be commended. I am however troubled by his emotional change. Has he called yet? Will you see him if he does? And if you do opt to see him, please be careful, I'd hate for you to get hurt again.

Drop him, he's using you. don't let him walk all over you. he doesn't know what he wants and he sounds like a flake for getting married to some strange chick.
he's got commitment issues and he didn't tell you about this other woman. he's got trust issues.
save yourself the trouble and drop him. don't accept his call, cuz you'll find yourself wrapped up in the mess again.

He may have found out something about you. Plus, when you go after a guy that's in a realtionship, we start to thinking, "How many people has she done this with?" Sounds like he saw something in you he couldn't handle or didn't like. The one he married was just a rebound.

He is just using you. I know I've done this to women before, there is always that women that is always there need to get laid or something. You stay around, until you find someone else then slowly move away. When it goes bad, you show back up at her door again. I know plenty of guys that do this, and I know plenty of girls that fall for it.

Sounds like he's attracted to abusive relationships, maybe having something to do with his childhood and his mother. He probably doesn't think he deserves to be with someone who will treat him right or make him happy (like you), and avoids getting into serious relationships with those type of women.

He sounds like a user to me. He is seeing you as a easy target when things are not going his way. In other words he sees you as a short term solution, but not a long term commitment.
