Perhaps.... have you gone over why you might be having so much dificulty in finding a new chruch home... are your expectations too high...did you come from a small and are looking for biger...are you too intimidated to join in at a new church... I would recomend a small congrigation and visiting for a month... get involved in the sunday school and the worship service... if there are other activities they have you could go to those as well... this would have been a time for that but still there are other activities you might find at a new church...I would suggest a small Bible teaching Church like a bible Baptist or conservative Baptist... with a congrigation of say 150 or less... it will take time for youto get to know them and for them to get to know you...but in most cases you need ot show an interet in more than just comeing on Sunday and sitting... but take it slow and give it what time it takes to find what is there for you... a month at least or more...I'll pray for you on this to night... let yourself be open to God leading you through The Holy Spirit...not by your own needs...but His needs.

He is not disappointed but you need to be fed spritually and you recognize it so find a church!! It's easy to do so just do it. You know you feel better when you are in the house of the Lord surrounded by God's people so just make a promise to do it at the next opportunity. It may be intimidating to find a new church amongst ppl you dont know but a couple things to remember..1) you are not there for them and 2) the longer you stay out, the harder it will be to get back in there! Good luck & God Bless!

Sounds like you are disappointed, God knows what you are going through. Why don't you call you old pastor and ask him to recommend a church to you. If he does not know of any do what I did I started visiting churches and then I did what I should have done in the first place I prayed, and God answered and I found a church home.

No, of course not, though I have felt the way you are feeling now. God knew every good or bad thing any one of us would ever do before the creation of the universe, so nothing we do can ever disappoint Him.
The truth is that none of us has anything good to offer him. He is the creator of everything and we are just like dust in comparison. The miracle is that He has decided to love us and seeks relationship with us. Anyone who tells you Christianity is about good works and being good has it all backwards. Knowing God is about coming to him, acknowledging our need and shortcomings and asking Him to give us His goodness and fill up those empty places.
That being said, God did create people to need contact with one another. Please don't give up on finding a church to interact with .

God isn't disappointed, in fact, He may be using this time to stretch your faith. Sometimes God wants to get us alone with Him.....just you and God. Some people say that God tests our faith but I disagree. I believe that God stretches our faith. And, just like stretching your physical muscles is often painful, likewise, having your spiritual muscles stretched is sometimes painful. If you have back slidden in any area....get back to where you were. Pray, read your Bible, and give out the gospel. Don't stop doing the Lord's work because you don't have a church. In the meantime, go to my Church's web site and download the preaching. It's a FREE and there are tons of sermons on our site.

God knows everything that is going to happen, so he cannot be disappointed in anything or anyone. He already knows the outcome. I think that we all tend to have dormant periods of communication with God, but don't forget, your relationship as Father and child cannot be changed. God cannot loose his possesion, no matter how far you wander. To refresh your memory, you should read the story of the Prodical son.

Jesus isn't the Savior...the true Messiah will come and teach us the truth and the way. Christians see Jesus as equal to God, they are breaking the first commandment. I'm not going to preach because I'm not sinless, but I'm telling you that Christians have it all wrong, they contradict themselves...look into the roots of the religion and you'll see.
God is loving and merciful, He forgives and is compassionate. Read the Hebrew Bible, it's the same as the "Old Testament" but it's the truest one in my eyes. The Christians changed it in some parts and put it in their own bible to fit their beliefs.

A real test of your faith, huh? Let God know how much He means to you, and that you will not separate from Him, and that you trust Him to take you to where He wants you to be in Christ and that you know He will not forsake you and will lead you to the right spiritual feeding ground for you.
God bless u

You need to rely on a church to validate your "relationship" with God? Hmm.... that's kinda sad. Of course the whole god thing is sad, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

The possibility that a "god" can exist as you think one must, is absolutely illogical, so how could a being who is allegedly supposed to be ABOVE such mental distortions actually exist let alone be disappointed?
