She is almost definitely a mix, and not an applehead. Could be part min-pin, yes.

Sadly, there is no such thing as a "teacup chihuahua." Chihuahuas do come in all sorts or sizes and colors,yes.. but they are of the TOY family. A teacup chihuahua is simply the offspring of a small chihuahua.. leading the breeder to believe that these chihuahuas will be small. However, due to genes passed throughout chihuahuas, two very small chihuahuas may produce larger offspring. A "teacup chihuahua" is really only a regular chihuahua that breeders have given a ritzy name to, expecting people to pay more for a puppy that will be smaller than the average. Even then, your puppy may turn out to be up to 6 or 8 pounds. Anyone who is selling you these puppies as "teacup chihuahuas" is already proving their ignorance by labeling a dog with a fictional breed. Showing their ignorance, the breeder has also poorly bred these chihuahuas.. leading to many health problems, and possibly bad traits, such as yappy or rather mean dogs. As you will have the same chance of having a small dog either way, i would suggest you check into the chihuahuas costing $150. These people obviously have more sense.. and seem much more responsible.

Definately not an apple head. From that picture I don't think purebred Chihuahua. I have a deer head Chi and this looks nothing like him or any others i have seen. I have seen some mix breeds that look like your dog though. She is very cute and I think you might be on track with a min. pin. It would help though to have more details like age, weight, body porportions... You could look at the AKC website to see the breed standard. It describes in detail what the Chihuahua is supposed to look like if purebred whether it is an apple head or deer head. Also searching on the internet for mixed Chihuahua pictures may give you an idea of what some of the different mixes look like.

I can tell you that she is definately not an applehead. Appleheads have a more rounded head and shorter snouts. She looks more like a Deerface Chihuahua. To get an idea of what an Applehead Chihuahua looks like, type Applehead Chihuahua Pictures in your searchbar and for Deerface Chihuahua Pictures do the same. That will give you a better idea of what each one looks like and the difference between their looks. Both faces are adorable.

The apple chihuahuas have very round distinctive heads. There eyes do bulge out. The dear Chihuahuas have a body like a Grey hound..Really curved. Check out pictures on the Internet.
You might ask what else he has in him besdies chihuahua. He looks simulair to our pappered apple... but he looks like he might have something else in him. His face shape looks similar to my fathers terrier

would need more info like weight and height, maybe another photo. she does indeed look like she may be mixed with another
breed. she is definately Not and apple head. apple heads have a much shorter muzzle and a rounder tinier head. are the parents on the premises where you bought her? What has your vet said about what she looks like?

I wouldn't call that an applehead. She may have been when she was younger, but she isn't now.
