AKC says that a male dog needs to be 8 months old before they can be used as a stud, but I have heard males fathering a litter at 5 months. My French Bulldog was used at 10 months (he had all of his preliminary health checks first) and he sired a litter of 4. You may want to have you vet to a sperm count on your male to check and make sure that he can be used, it only cost me $15 at my vet and took about 10 minutes. Also, he should have his preliminary health checks (for hips, etc.) before you breed him, if you vet says that he looks healthy and has no joint deformities, then he will probably be okay to breed. I hope this helps and good luck!

If you are fascinated about breeding then you definitely will have to already have the solutions to these questions. In case you don't already recognize these answers than i have a hard time believing that you are on expert on breed requirements which is what you should be in case you are interested by letting your dog procreate. I don't mean to sound harsh but there are so many unwanted dogs and breeds are going downhill as a result of breeders that aren't trained. There is quite a lot of accountability for a breeder. They must be ready to take every dog that they have ever sold again and furnish them with nice take care of any intent. This isn't handiest the *****'s house owners responsibility. Please believe this by means of.

I'll take it that your not an experienced English Bulldog breeder. No offense to you---- Raising and breeding English Bulldogs can be very costly and time consuming! You really should read up on them before considering even attempting it. Bulldogs aren t built to breed naturally unless they are unusually long legged. You really need to do some research. Best of luck : )

One year old. Every dog is the same. People might tell you different but it is one year old. Females have to be around two years and bigger than the male.

Being it is a Bulldog, you will have to have semen collected and then frozen and stored by a sperm bank for dogs. They are not natural breeders.

Any k-9 should be in there 2nd heat. They are still very young in their first heat and there body's still need to develope. You couldn't bread it anytime is comes in heat but you have a much safer pregnacy and delivery is you wait till the 2nd heat.
