i have pretty long hair and i want to do something with it. should i cut it like shoulder length or a little higher or should i keep it long? what do you find more attractive?

I think you should keep it long. If anything, just have some long layers blended in, take a couple of inches off if anything! Longer hair is prettier to me, but I'm a chick with long hair..... ;-)

I had very long hair up until a few weeks ago. I was faced with the same problem as you. I decided to go shoulder legnth and I liked it alot. My head felt lighter, and the transition wasn't as drastic as if I had cut it short. I may get it cut shorter, but I haven't decided. It is always safe to go with a longer cut because you can always cut more off, but you can't put any back on!

Cut it an inch and a half or so and then get lots of layers. It will be long enough to do whatever you please and have nice, fluid layers. I had very long hair and cut it to 1/3 back length approximately and now I want to grow it about midway again because mine is too hard to do anything with.

I've had short and I've had long -- it's been long now for ages. It's so easy to care for and I can do so much with it. If long looks good on you, go long,. Keep in mind though that nothing is less attractive then long hair in bad condition!

I had hair past my butt and I know how much of a pain it can be I didn't cut my hair for 20 years, then one day I had had enough of the tangles so I found a pair of scissors and cut it just past my shoulders I have kept it that way now for 2 years, sometimes I miss it but I don't miss fighting with the tangles and it looks healthier. good luck just remember it will grow back.

It's winter, keep it at least shoulder length. Then in the spring get a cute cut that suits your face.

I would need a picture. But if you want to keep your hair healthy, I suggest getting it cut at least a little - maybe even just a trim or something.

i had long hair but then i cut it and it's to my shoulders. the only reason i did was because it was too long for me. i think you should keep it long. guys are more attracted to long hair i think! try going to a hair stylist place and see wat kinds of hair style are good for long hair or check out these websites below!

I say try the one that fits your face. If long fits you better, then go with long. If short or shoulder lenth fits your face then go with them. Otherwise, talk to your hair stylist he or she will tell you what is best.

I think you should cut it shoulder lenght. Shoulder lenth hair is very pretty.
