The Bible of The True Christian Faith dose contain The Word and Will of God...but not all the words are from God.... there is nothing in The Bible for the non-believer. Ony one open to the leading of The Holy Spirit will find what God has for him in The Bible...There is no original text of The Bible existant today... what we do have are copies of copies of copies of translations. while the original texts were directly inspired By God to be recorded by the original scribes...what we have today suffers from men mucking about with it over the last couple milenia or so... But... There is Still there what God wants for any who will come to it with a seeking and open heart...How do Know this...I have if from God in The Truth of what he gave me at the instant of my Salvation...I did not even own a Bible on that day and it was not from a Bible that I came to God..but God did direct me to the one I now read and study,,, as best i can in my fumbleing way... And I know that God, through The Holy Spirit guides me in this....

I'm not really sure it says in the bible that the bible is the word of god.
giving that the bible is made from a collection of stories that were past down through generations and letters early churches it would be odd that something like to be sad in the bible (since there wasn't one)
It's the church that says the bible is the word of God

Who says moby dick is moby dick? The publisher right? So God says the Bible is His Word. You are correct in that if the only way He said it was in the Bible it would be circular. He says it in other ways though. The words written in the Bible are written in every heart and when you hear them they register as truth. You know how you see a spaceship in a warehouse seemingly dead until a mother ship comes near then it ignites? Well you need that to happen to a human spirit before the book makes sense so the connection with God is crucial before trying to understand the Bible. The connection is a simple honest moment where you look up and say I will give you a chance to show me who you are. Then watch what happens in your life...All the best in your search.

Here are a few scriptures that say the Bible is the Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
(2 Peter 1:21) For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.
(2 Samuel 23:2) The spirit of Jehovah it was that spoke by me, And his word was upon my tongue.
People haven't taken the time to read, study and understand the Bible. They believe what others tell them and are too lazy to do their own research.
As Christians we should follow the example set by our brothers and sisters of the first century: (Acts 17:11) Now the latter were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so.
We can't count on the circular world for salvation. It is up to oneself to make the effort to learn the Truth. (John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

The Bible is the oral written word of God. He allow holy men inspired by the Holy Spirit to write books about his revelation to the world. He first came to his chosen people the Jews, and then established a new covenant through his Son, Jesus Christ which fulfilled the OT.
I read the Doay-Rheim Catholic Bible that predates King James Bible.

It is circular reasoning if one reasons that the text says it is real when it is a fiction. The Koran says the same thing. The Old Testament, the same. Other religious texts and beliefs also proclaim the same thing: we are the exclusive true believers.
The really sick and dangerous thing is that too many of these deluded folks are willing to kill and commit suicide for their psychotic beliefs.
The benchmark for admission to a psychiatric hospital today is whether the person is a danger to themselves or others. Religious nuts are psychotic, they are a danger.

God says so. You have to take up this question with Him. I believe it by faith. But it has shown itself to be true outside of the Bible. No prophecy in it has failed to come true. Look what it says in Ezekiel 39 I think about Russia and China which is coming true in our present time.

Sometimes I think that if God can create Heaven and earth, then HE can certainly create a book that is His word, which is available to us. I read the King James version.
