some of the figures I have used are from other researchers, who have researched the back grounds of our presidents, congressmen and senate, their contention is if their mother or back ground is Jewish then they are jewish, or at least have Jewish ties, many try to hide their relationships ,

winemkr, you have a very valid point, am I a marine? since I spent most of my stint fighting Israels fights and protecting Israel, it is questionable, now I am wondering if I could apply for retirement from the Israeli gov, I am damned sure their retirement would be better than the U,S, and I wouldn't need to travel 200 miles to see a Dr, and wait 3 mo, to a year for mediacal Atten. doe's any one know whaat the retirement pay is for a I,D,F, W,O with 23 years service???

Although I agree in principal with "Shooter"s comments, I agree that your % lines are a little streached. Israel is under the control of Zionists and has been since the state illegally was brought into existance in the late 40's. "Torah" or real Jews recognise that they are and have been a terrorist organization since they were organized in the late 1800 s.

Well, you have some good points, very valid - but I have to dispel one of your points... the US Congress has very few Jewish people in it - it is in fact dominated by various Christian sects, generally protestant variants.

That said - the US unconditional support of Israel is ludicrous, as well as stupid. The last time I checked the US was spending some $1000 per Jewish resident of Israel in unconditional support.

Frankly I think that large amount of support should be leveraged in political discussion with Israel, in an attempt to make the Israelis alter their middle eastern policies.

Current policy, largely driven by the Bush administration, has done nothing but inflame hatred for the West, America in particular.

Wasting lives in the middle east is tragic, and horrible... no policy, no goals, just committing good men and women to danger, mutilation and death over some freakish non-existent goal... peace in the middle east. Carter made some progress on the subject, and pretty much every president since has damaged our relations overseas, at least in the middle east.

And I know that one can argue that Clinton made some progress... but that was simply not enough...

Some Americans know. Most do not. You can serve your countrymen most by making sure that more of them know about Israel's real behavior, in contrast to its public relations image, and by helping them to understand that the US government's support of Israel is why the entire rest of the world is growing contemptuous of Americans. A lot of people don't realize how ignorant most of you Yanks are about the doings of your own government and those of its "democratic allies."

You've overestimated the percentage of Jews in the US Senate. It's 11%. However, the percentage of Jews in the United States is only 3%. If elections for the US Senate gave a random chance of electing either Jews or non-Jews, the probability of having an eleven percent Jewish senate would be 1 chance in 6250. That's more unlikely than flipping an honest Cohen twelve times and having him come up "heads" every time.

Here's an interesting tidbit for you. There are about as many persons of Asian race in the United States as there are Jews. Yet Jews, in comparison with Asians, were 15 times more likely to be Supreme Court Law Clerks, 13 times more likely to be US law school professors, and about six times more likely to be in either of the two houses of the US Congress. I wonder why?

The greater part of the Jewish control of your country's government comes from their ownership of the media and their control of high finance (in the US, via the Federal Reserve).

A greatly disproportionate number of your federal bureaucrats, in the IRS, in the social services, in the judiciary, and in law enforcement agencies, are Jewish. These play the role of sensors, giving the Zionist power structure the alert when an elected official may be planning to do something that the Jews won't like.

Uh, someone just told me that only 2% of the US population is Jewish. If that's true, the odds against getting an 11% Jewish Senate, from unbiased elections, go to 1 chance in 208,000. That may be even more unlikely than finding an honest Cohen to flip.

shooter why do Americans support Israel? It depends on Jewish votes. Funny when you mention the word Palestinians to Americans, the first thing they think is terrorists. They haven't a clue that Palestine history or that it is a nation. The Palestinian problem started after the Second World War. It was created by the USA, England. Wondering where to dump these Jewish after the war. No consideration was given to the Palestinian people. They became refugees in there own country.

60% of America's Congress is Jewish? What a bunch of nonsense. The 109th US Congress (2005-2006) was 6.9% Jewish. The US has had ZERO Jewish Presidents. The US population as a whole is about 1.3% Jewish.

Let us not forget that the partition of Palestine was approved by the UN General Assembly. Let us also not forget that Israel is a tiny country, with an area of about 20000 square kilometers. Compare this to 91880 square kilometers for Jordan (4.6 times bigger than Israel), 185000 square kilometers for Syria (9.3 times bigger than Israel), 2200000 square kilometers for Saudia Arabia (110 times bigger than Israel), and 1000000 square kilometers for Egypt (50 times bigger than Israel). Seems to me that the Muslim world, particularly Muslim Arabs, are getting insanely angry over a strip of land smaller than New Jersey.

If the Arab countries had accepted the original partition plan, Israel would be smaller than it is today, Jerusalem would be mandated by the UN rather than being part of Israel, and there would be an independent Arab counterpart to Israel.

Right now, Israel exists and appears determined to survive. She has the right to defend herself. I only wonder when the "Religion of Peace" is going to figure this out.

There is plenty of blame to go around for both Israel & Palestine.
I am no great fan of Israel's military tactics nor am I a fan of Lebanon allowing attacks against Israel from groups based in Lebanon.

"Is it because over 60%of Americas congress and senate are Jewish?"
Where do you get these figures?

seriously youre right
i think its bullcrap how israel gets supported in every damn thing they do...they are an illegal country, and the west is the one whos messed it all up
i hav nothing against jews but if the allies really cared they shoulda carved out a piece of their own land or offered them equal rights and homes in their own countries, not take away someone elses country
the palestinian insurgency has every right to fight bcuz its their own land but i DO NOT support palestinian terrorism who are killing innocent civilians which is against the rules of war

Many have been duped by the liberal media, and are confused. There are some who don't understand a thing about Israel, or the Arabs over there who call themselves "Palestinians." Many are simpletons, and they buy into the misuided belief that "the Jews stole the land."

Hmm, well now that I read the rest of your post, it appears that you're one of these very people.

And in answer to your question as to why Israel can have certain types of weapons, it's important that the decent and sane nations on Earth have them, in order to maintain a balance of power against the crazies.
