my hair is really curly in some sections, && then it's wavy in others. i guess i don't mind it, but i have WAY too much volume ... is there any way to minimize it without having to use gell/mouse/hairspray or any other stuff that makes your hair all stiff && sticky ... ?? anything i could do at home?? any good products that really do work??

I have used many things on my own hair and my clients, and for your situation i swear by Matrix Sleek and Shine shampoo and conditioner. I have naturally wavy light brown hair and now wear it in a bleached blonde sleek bob and i can get away without blowing it out or flat ironing it if i have to by using these products.

get a texturized hair cut! good hair cuts really make a difference. And, if u have a good hairstylist, they should know how to cut your hair to even out the volume to where they would slim down where it's too bulky and add volume where it's necessary. hope this helps.
