please help and i know there are tons of ways but how would u do it or should i get to know him more!?

oh, that is easy. just simply go up to him and tell him that you want to cook dinner for him and watch a movie. Ask him to bring the wine and the movie, you supply the food. When he gets there, ask him to help in the kitchen and flirt with him.
Remember, keep everything (including the asking him out part) as simple as possible.

Get to know him. Flirt a lot, and charm him to death! After awhile, if you think he might like you, ask him to hang out with you on the weekend or something like that.

Just ask him casually , what kind of movie does he like....etc.. and when one of this favourite movies is showing, just ask him would be like to see it and that its one of yr favourite too.. or any other interests that he has... in that way you will get to know him better too
