basically he told me that he thought this person in a movie was beautiful and i told him who i thought was sexy(an actor)and then he went quiet on me for the rest of the day.does this mean anything

He probably thot u meant the other guy was sexier than he is, & it hurt his little feelings! Don't worry about it, if he's that thin skinned, he's not worth it. Why would he tell u the actress was `beautiful? Was he trying to make u jealous? U just turned it around on him & he couldn't take it. It'll blow over, forget it.

Sounds as if it means that he is immature and expects you to respect his perspective but he can't respect yours. Or perhaps your identifying a sexy male hurt his fragile male ego and he needs lots of time to recover.
