The Truth and Love will never be subjects in any public school, nor should they be. As a parent you should take the responsibility of teaching that to your kids. Do you expect everyone else to teach your child life values?

Truth and love need to be modeled by parents. Being honest in everything and showing you care by what you do, not by your words alone. That would mean parents need the investment of time in their relationship with their kids to show they care and are honest. I would expect the school to value truth and love in the example of the teachers/staff. Naturally some will be poor examples and even that is something one can learn from. All of these are things that are "caught" and not "taught".

Schools couldn't do it, or they would be in trouble for being irresponsible people. It just takes one stubborn-enough parrent to effect the curriculum. Especially since people are so effin sue happy. I on the other hand would teach my children by just letting them live with me. I don't have words for truth & love, but I have an idea of them. Let the kid see what you do in situations of truth and love and the kid will follow.
p.s etc...not "ect"

My son is only 1 but my mother taught me that love is a friendship on fire and if there is a simple twist of fate left in that persons eye after several years of friendship nad heartache, then that person has the deepest affection for you as well you do too. And truth is like guilt working its way out of a nut shell. Once you find or do something that you feel needs to be told but are affraid, it will find its own way out to the world one way or another. Truth is at the hands of god and it is up to you to find your way there.....

Religion has been taken out of our schools, I mean most schools can't even say the Pledge of Alligence due to the fact that it mentions God in it!! I teach my children that they should not dislike someone because of their religion beliefs. We already have so much hate in this world, I don't want my children to be one of them that are hating on color and religion....I always tell them to judge a person on whats in their hearts not on who they believe in....or what they believe in!!

I don't teach my kids anything.
Frankly, I don't have kids.
In school, I'm in the honors system so there are huge consequences for lying/cheating. All that good stuff.

i think if you show your kids truth and love, you don`t have to teach them to your kids because they already know it.
