I went to a party last nihgt and we played "Never Have I ever", where people go around and say something they have never done and if anyone in the circle has done it they lose a point and say "oops". So it started off easy with boys saying "never have I ever worn a bra" and girls saying "never have I ever had a penis" but then it got dirtier with stuff like "never have I ever been fingered", "never have I ever had sex", "never have I ever hooked up" and a bunch of related ones. I'm 16 - is it weird that I was one of the few 16 and 17 year-olds (and I mean FEW) to have never done these?! I felt really, out of it all by the end of the game learning my friends weren't virgins and quite frankly, sexpots...

Hey Kat, you are your own person. Learn to love and honor yourself, to accept yourself as the greatest friend you have...and as the greatest and most wonderful person you are. There is no reason to compare yourself to another person. You honor yourself, not them, and they certainly won't honor you. Looking at what a person considers important tells you a lot about that person. If having engaged in a lot of sex play is important, to a person, then it's that person's issue. If it becomes important to you, only then does it become important to you...but not because it was important to someone else. Honor yourself, not others.

It is most commendable to hold on to virginity until you wish to let it go. Nothing is wrong with being among a very very few who have not slept with someone or even done much else for that matter. Be proud and don't let anyone pressure you into anything you are not comfortable with, but at the same time do not be a tease. Don't bring bring food les your hungry.

A lot are prolly lying to make themselves look cool. Don;t worry about this stuff now cuz it shouldn;t matter to people. Plus the real good times start in college anyway!

16 is not that unusual at all probably right around the average if truth be told.. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if a few people didn't lie outright or bend the truth, men especially, to appear larger than life.

Well, I'm 17 too, and I'm a virgin. I don't want to be, but that's a different story. But if you don't think you want to have sex, don't!
