I believe that you can be with many different people and there will be a wonderful match.I also believe that you only find that one true person that you can connect with on all levels. We all find someone that we feel a connection with. Many times we date allot of different people and have a great relationship with all of them, but we usually find one that has a more solid companionship than the rest. This person may still not be our soul mate but have a great connection anyway. You will know who this person is when you find them.

You are right. And it's not healthy to believe in that. There are many people who you will like for some reasons and wish they were different in other ways. But to call someone one and only and the best is something that can be neither real nor verified.
Think about it - every time you meet a wonderful woman, the next one seems to surpass her in some ways, so who is the soulmate? Who is to be the judge of that?

I believe there is a possibility of the whole "soulmates" thing. Look at this another way... the concept is that soulmates both share a common soul. We're already talking something outside of our known world (souls being a spiritual thing we can't sense in the typical way). So if one believes in the concept of souls... why couldn't you believe that the soul which intentionally split in two directions, was born into 2 people, would only do that knowing they would meet? :)

No. I think only immature romantics believe that silly notion and they will probably reject one after another decent possibilities waiting for that illusive Mr. or Ms. Right to show up.
Love is created by adult, mature creatures using good judgment and effort once they find someone with whom they share some core values and a good amount of healthy attraction.
I think we can find many good matches in a lifetime if we are looking in the right places in the right frame of mind.

I believe everybody is set with a predetermined amount of love for everybody in the world. Sometimes you just don't meet the person you're set to love the most.... and sometimes you do.
Even if you can't find The One there's still plenty of people that are close to them in premeasured love.

I beleive there is someone for everyone but it does not necessarily mean that we will be with them forever or that they will be the first thing to come along in life. But a soulmate could be a very good friend too.

I do not believe in souls mates.....what would be the point? And it would be dissappointing to think you found one and it was not the case...If there were soul mates, why is there divorce? And would there only be one soul mate per person?
See why I do not believe in soul mates...it is a romantic fantasy.

With marriage on the decline and how quickly people divorce. There is no such thing as a soul mate.

Absolutely not. The idea of "soul mates" was simply cooked-up by Hollywood to sell those piece of crap movies like "Sleepless in Seattle."
