I had one Corona the other night and was tired for like two days and had extreme diarhea. I stopped drinking on a regualr basis about two years ago but just because I was in a relationship and neither one of us drank. Now seems like when I want to have a couple of drinks I feel like crap for a couple of days after. Anyone else experience this?

If you drink regularly, you build up a tolerance. But that might not be the case. Some people just don't tolerate some brand of beers.. I always thought that Budweiser was German for headache. It had something to do with the hops. Not a hops fan. You might try different brands. I did see a posting the other day when someone asked why does frozen beer give you the runs. Not having had frozen beer before, I could not speak from experience one way or another. I have heard that beer, once chilled, should not be allowed to reach room temperature and chilled again because it effects the flavor. I would recommend beer on an empty stomach. I would be curious if you had the same feeling if you were drinking mixed drinks. It could be all those carbs..

Well, alcohol is a poison that has the side effect of getting us wasted.

It sounds like you're not following some of the basic rules for drinking - consume a lot of water whilst drinking, it helps keep the alcohol out of the brain...

The reason you feel like crap is that alcohol is hydrophilic - and the brain has the highest concentration of water in the body. So the alcohol goes straight to the brain given no other option.

consumption of large amounts of water, and vitamins, minimizes the affect.

And kinda impacts that high...

I'd suggest just not drinking - I've done that on and off for years, and I'm generally much happier when I'm not drinking.

Does mess with sex though...

you haven't drank in a while but i doubt it was the corona. dehydration causes diarrhea and fatigue so when you drank the beer it could have added to it. next time you have a beer if you ever have another try making sure you drink water throughout the day and see if you have the same reaction.

That's weird for such small amounts. Only drink when you feel like it, and try wine.
