I'm young, and ready. You wanna start right away, or should I take you out on a date first?

It all depends on how young you really are. I always wanted my children young. When I was young (12, 13) all my friends parents were OLD looking. My mom had me at 18. My mother did many things with me. I wanted the same for my kids. I am 23 now. i had my first kid at the age of 19 and the second at 23! I am happy with the way I had my kids. Although my husband and i have been together for six years so I know we are stable enough for kids! It is hard as others have said however i you realyl know what you are getting into and you are at least 18 go for it!
realistically speaking:::
diapers- at least 40 a month
formula-i go through 12 cans a month and that costs
156$ my first kid only went through 9 or less a month!
clothes 25 kids grow but not that much
Gas/Tylenol-my kids sure dont ever get tylenol or any other meds i have gas meds and tylenol the same ones that last at least 6 months so.... figue 7 $ each 14$ total for 6 months!
ETC. baby things- 20 month
Wipes-10 a month
daycare-400-500 a month ( VERY pricey )( and if y'all have a good job no help on this either)
kids are spendy but if not very spoiled it isnt too bad!

Well hunny I was the same I am 20 now with a baby that will be 1 on the 30 of DEC. and I really wanted a baby and let me tell you that is is not at all cracked up as you think it is!! Be ready for up ALL night and yes mine is almost a year and still up 2-3 X's a night.. I got lucky and me and my husband now have been tog. for 4 years. But it is rough!! Talk about having to pay almost 500 a month for daycare because I have to go to college ( not for me but for all of us) I did not care about anything but a baby and now I wish for her I would have waited I love her so much but we can not give her what we want to because with rent electric car insurance daycare food bills, and all the etc. There is not much room and let me tell you one thing get him married to you first because 90% of the time they bail out ( many say won't happen to me but ....) I was with mine for 4 years and what about you ???
Be real with your self you do not need one!! If you are ready to have no life and tons of bills have fun because you will be there for the next 18 years for sure!!
Add this all up and tell me if you are still ready
( parents will not pay stuff anymore if you depend on them cause you are grown up enough to have a baby you can pay your own bill can't you??)

Rent
car
insurance
electric
food
phone
cable ( optional)
diapers- at least 40 a month
formula- ( I was on wic but if you and him have a ok job you will be disqualified)- MY formula was 200+ a month but normal is 150 a month
clothes ( they have to have some) -50 a month
Gas/Tylenol-20 month
ETC. baby things- 20 month
Wipes-10 month
daycare-400-500 a month ( VERY pricey )( and if y'all have a good job no help on this either)

I'm young and DONE having babies! I had my first right before I turned 17. The biggest challenge of my life! I got married three months before I turned 20. I had number two a week after my first anniversary, and I had three and four (twins) 9 days before my 23 birthday! yikes! Four is plenty for me!
