Sounds like the typical flu...get plenty of best rest, drink lots of fluids, take aspirin or ibuprofen and if doesn't seem to get better in 4-6 days, see your doctor. Watch the sore throat, that could be from infection. If you feel real bad burning you may need antibiotics.

It sounds like you have been cursed with a bad cold or a URI (Upper Resp. Infection) more than likely! When you cough up mucous is it discolored (yellow/greenish tint to it) at all? If so, it could be something sinus related as well, like an infection that needs antibiotics to treat it properly and make it go away.

Sounds like flu or another viral infection.
You should be fine in a few days, but you might consider going to a doctor to confirm that its viral.
If its bacterial - antibiotics might help in getting you better faster.
And monitor the fever - if it hits near 104 - go to the hospital.
