I've felt is way too many times and its awful!! Just don't let it make you cold hearted!! We love and are loved for a reason and when it end that a learned lesson. Just something we have to experience in life! Just learn from it and move on to the nest hurt!! Plus don't run from feelings just because you fear getting hurt if you do you will never know love!!

It is quite hard but learning how to overcome that pain can be quite powerful and liberating experience.
Realizing that what happened is not up to you and that it might actually be a GOOD THING that opens possiblities for you to meet other and better people for you can make a difference between being upset and starting a whole new page of your life. See the best in break-ups and don't perceive your past relationship as a waste of time. It wasn't! You enjoyed it as long as it lasted and you must have learned a lot about yourself and the opposite sex. So, move forward as a stronger and more competent person.

Yes and it feels like it will never go away at first but it does take time and it is different for everyone. My blood pressure skyrockets when I am hurt by my ex and he burned me bad last month. I am trying to understand him but I can say that he is a low life convict and will be one and attract low life women and I think he figured out that I was too good for him. I still feel for him but I am slowly coming to my senses. Yes you want to go and kill him or beat him down and those are normal feelings. Just don't kill him cuz he ain't worth it. You may still hurt inside but you will feel better when you let him know how you really feel and get it all off your chest. Stay strong and realize your true blessing is coming and just be prepared to accept it.

I'm feeling it right now but I started going to church every week. I think it's still lingering because I'm still associated with that person. When the sh*$ hits the fan I will feel like you but already my chest is heavy. So I turn to prayer because it really helps.

I lost 15 or more pounds in 1-2 weeks because of it. But, as the person above wrote, you slowly start to heal.

Yes. It got to the point where I hysterically cried out at night and felt so lonely, and looking up at the stars made me wonder why?, and what he was up to, and only if he knew and felt the same way. :(
