Tell them how you feel. If they are worthy of your love but don't feel the same way, they will be kind about it. If they behave like an arrogant git, then this will accomplish two things:
a) it will let you know that they are not as nice as you thought
b)it will assist your heart in letting go because you will dislike them for it.
the other possibility is that they will tell you they really like you and hey hey hey , you're smiling.
If your friends dislike you for liking someone then they sound like pricks to me!
Ahhh oops perhaps this person is of the same gender as you. If this is the case then I don't know what you can do. Because your friends may be nice enough people but a little homophobic. If this is the case, and you are homosexual then they've got to find out one day so you may as well come out of the closet and bear the pain or possibly the joy of finding out they are true friends and will make an effort to learn to live with it.
I'm afraid as a straight guy I can't offer much assistance here.
And if I've misunderstood and you're also straight, sorry no offence meant.

I told my friend that I like him on Wednesday and although we've not progressed any further than that it's a huge relief to have finally said something. Thankfully he said he feels the same but just be aware that that's not always the case, don't presume that he feels the same unless he's said so - even if his brother's monkeys' nanna's dog told you. Just make sure that whatever you do you do because you want to not because you want to do what others are saying you should. It's a fairly big risk to take and could change the friendship forever, you just need to decide whether it's worth the risk and what you want to come of it if he does feel the same. Remember not to build your expectations too high because if he doesn't really feel the same it would be awful to have further to fall.

You have to take the risk. And besides, if you love this person than it shouldn't matter to you who knows, you won't be 'over.'
This is one of those risks that you have to take or you miss a chance at love for a long time, maybe even forever. If it fails, it's just a hit you have to take.
Roll w/the punches and good luck!

People are mature enough to see that the declaration of love for another is not a shameful thing. Why would they care? If you really like that particular person, why bother about what people think? If he/she is such a braggart, then why love him/her?

hey
if u love somebody then dont be scared.
if you are scared then may be its not love exactly.
the world might not be as daring or straightforward as it was or the relationships might not be as strong as they used to be but there is one thing a man shall never forget - manhood.
