Well, I'm assuming you've asked why she did what she did. Now, depending on the answer, you should either try to work it out, or just leave her alone.

Do 2 things. One, get angry. It's important to get angry about her and about the relationship so you can let those emotions out. Don't sit around feeling sorry for yourself and remembering the good times that you and she had. Remember all those times that she hurt you or said something mean to you? Remember the fights and the sacrifices you made for nothing!? Focus on that and get angry at her! This is her fault.

Two, take everything in your apartment that reminds you of her (photos, that Christmas gift she got you last year, etc.) and pack them away in a box. Then put that box in storage where you can't get to it easily - preferably not in your apartment. This is symbolic in that you are removing her from your life. But also, these items often are "triggers" that remind us of someone. By removing those triggers, you will find that you think of her less.

Another option is moving. It depends on your situation, of course. Don't leave a city that you love or a job that you love, but sometimes moving is really beneficial. Again, because you are breaking those triggers that remind you of her. This is especially true if you live in a small town. Every place you go will probably remind you of her. It's best to move, if that is practical.

You should get over it by doing things that will get ur mind off of it, reading, chores, anything, just don;t think about the bad things that happened. Thibk about all the good stuff that happened and think about how it was a really good experience. Then shed the memories little by litlle until they are gone .

Steve you need to get on with life. Go to places, do things you like. When you least expect a girl will fall into your laps and you will enjoy the rest of your time with her. I learned the hard way now I am with someone who means more to me then people know. Best Of Luck Steve!!!

Time heals all wounds. I know you think it is the end of the world, and boy is it painful, being Xmas and all, but they obviously didn't feel the same connection you did. Sorry, to say, but the only thing for you to do now, is move on.

Get over her. Someday, she'll regret to ever having dumped YOU and letting go of a real nice guy.

I'm going to give you some advice I got when something similar happened to me: you don't get over her, you just learn to live without her.
