You are absolutely spoiling that poor girl. If she wants another nano at age 4, what do you think she will expect you to give her when she's 16. You shouldn't give in just because she whines. Let her know it's not in the budget this month and that one nano is enough for anyone

Yes you are spoiling her. I learned the hard way. My daughter was barely playing with the stuff after a couple of months or either breaking it. It was a waste of money. I suggest you take her to a shelter where she can learn to value the things she has, and understand that one is enough. Some kids dont have any. Teach her how to donate and give to those less fortunate. My cousin son's who is 5 years old has everything a grown person wishes for like a digital camera, video recorder, lots of jewerly, lots of designer clothes, laptop, desktop, plasma screen, etc. AND he is a terror, hes disrespectful, doesnt know how to value things at all. I stopped spoiling my child years ago. I suggested the same thing to my cousin. She took him to shelters through-out the year, and stopped all her splurging and you can see a change in him completely. We started giving back to our community and donating funds to our black organizations. You should do the same. Give to an organization where it would help a cause besides enabling spoiled kids.

Why does a 4 yr old need an ipod?
Why would you give a child ANYthing when they whine?
Just wait til she's 15, she'll be a nightmare!
Start by telling her NO. And if she can't understand that she should be thankful to have a green cased ipod, then she's too young to have it, take it back.
And, yes, you ARE spoiling her.

Come on. Are you crazy? Sorry, no offense meant. She doesn't need one ipod much less two. Get her a pink case to cover the green ipod and some gems with glue on the back. Make it a craft project. Don't make her a spoiled brat make her creative.

A four year old?? Definatly NO, she has learned fast that you can't stand her whining and will give in, it wont stop until you start to say no, and mean it! You can get different color cases for the nano's, it makes alot more sense to get a pink case than buy a whole other nano!

Any digital shop could probably carry them such because of the fact the source (by ability of Circut city), Wal Mart, destiny shop ect. for the reason that i'm Canadian I have not any clue of your style of shops yet that would desire to furnish you a concept. For upload-ons, definitly an ipod case, ipods are very gentle and can get scratched very actually as a result a conceal is very very nearly manditory. you % a conceal that would defend the show besides, as with even the slightest tension, the displays can "shatter" and are not lined decrease than the "coverage you will desire to purchase for those products. iPod coverage is commonly around 70 money as they are registered with Apple (the ipod company). yet another sturdy accessory is a wall charger different smart you would be able to desire to coach your computing device on each nighttime to charge the battery and it gets to be a soreness. (all upload-ons could be offered alongside the ipod besides. (interior the comparable shop I propose.) the undemanding function of an ipod is to hold music on a digital memory chip which could be performed. I pods could additionally carry pictures too yet i do no longer difficulty. the smallest length ipod you will get (i think of) is a million GB, they carry approximately 250 songs. Mine is a 2GB and carry 500 songs and mine costed approximately 4 hundred$$ after coverage and manditory upload-ons. Ipods can flow all they way as much as love 30+ GB's (i'm undecided the max # of GB's you will get yet its alot) those ipods carry hundreds, litterally. One reason its smart to get coverage is because of the fact ipods are like i mentioned gentle, additionally, their batteries, I heard can die in like 3 months and in basic terms the corporate can replace them. Mine has been going for the reason that July 06, and in working fantastic. when I first have been given my ipod I had a heck of a time programming it, i got here across, although, that all and sundry which must be executed is to create a playlist than flow into the settings and tell it to replace that record, (It took me 4 days to discern this out, i'd desire to be stupid or some thing. i don't be attentive to). I additionally locate that commonly my ipod freezes on me, this is a minor concern as interior the difficulty taking pictures handbook that includes the ipod, they inform you the thank you to repair it. i'm one that likes all the information until now dealing with with it, so I take care of others the comparable. And sitting right here, observing my ipod that's each element i think of i can arise with. sturdy success!!!

I can see it now. In 12 years. I only have one car right now and its blue, I want a red one too.
I think the I-pods have cases you can buy separately that are interchangeable. If you buy something get her some of those. She can decorate them to her hearts content and different cases arn't anything abnormal (something like different cell phone cases for us).
This way you can come to a happy middle ground.

Honestly? No offense intended, but a four year old shouldn't even HAVE an iPod. You are DEFINITELY spoiling her by getting her even one. At four years old, they really don't even comprehend most of the things you can do with an iPod, not to say your daughter is stupid. So yes, I think it IS spoiling her, even if you can afford it.

Your four year old has no business with an ipod nano. My cousin is nine and he begged for an ipod nano. He got an mp3 player. She probably cant even read so why does she need an ipod. U need to put your foot down. Let her keep whining. Get yourself an ipod to tune out her whining.

To be 100% honest, I wouldn't get it for her. For a holiday, maybe, but for no reason? I don't want to sound rude, but giving in will only lead to later problems. You could always Have her do something special around the house, like small chores, and after a couple weeks explain that she earned it. Good luck!!
