Yes. Sharpie is considered a"drug" and can cause brain damaged if smelled or sniffed intentionally for a long peiod of time. This is also with glue, higlighters, dry erase markers and white out. If you are just writing, it can't cause brain damage but if you litterally sniff it, it can cause brain damage

Yes, if you sniff them eventually they can cause brain damage by killing brain cells, so I would not recommend it

NO! this is a common mistake. they used to make them toxic, but people were getting high from them (which causes brain damage) but now they are making them non-toxic.
