Okay I think we have cleared it up you meant 'volkswagen beetle' but anyway...
When I was in highschool we put 16 people in there, also fit 18 in a Cavalier Z24..
I agree with the poster above me, check Guinness.. if we had tried and had smaller people we probably could have fit at least 3-5 more..

Do you mean a Volkswagon beetle? I'll say 9 or 10 because we fit 7 into an Eclipse one time and still had room to (uncomfortably) fit two more. They are roughly around the same size. ;)

This is going to sound racist, but it's true.
If you are in Mexico, you can fit possible a family, which includes mom, dad, three kids, grandma, grandpa, mom's sister, mom's brother, and dad's great uncle Pepe (twice removed). Hey, if they can all fit onto a motorcycle, they can sure as heck fit into a VW bug!!!
