You know what? I have hated holidays for years for that very reason, it was always stress, worry, getting the right present and I missed the real holiday moment by doing that. Alot of my family has died and Christmas now is pretty lonely and sad, I would give alot to go back to the time when they were here even though I hated it. I have changed alot in the past years from having cancer, I see things differently now. I would go back and tell them I loved them, hug them, and not worry about some stupid present. I would enjoy them for who they are because even though they may bug you and some of them you think you hate, if they were not there, you'd notice and hurt, and they did help make you the person you are today.
My advice to you would be relax, think of the day seeing your family as a part in life, a movie you are starring in, hug them, love them, and most of all tolerate them. You can do it.

Then I will give you a way to stop it. Focus on the anxiety, and let it be... allow feeling it, feel it totally... gone, right?
If it comes up again, just repeat.
