I have limewire just wanted to know if it's safe? also looking for other free file share sites. thanks for the help chris

I have limewire as well, I have had no trouble with it, a lot of people say they do, but I think it's jsut because they don't have good firewalls and anti-virus software. I have AVG Anti-spyware, AVG Anti- virus, and Zonealarm, all very good at protecting yor computer from viruses and spyware. I mean there are still going to be chances you get some kind of spyware, but those are very good anti spyware programs, and they are all free. so...if you dont have those, you should get them, you might not have as much trouble with limewire as some people do. No file sharing program is completely safe. As far as limewire goes, the program itself has no spyware as long as you get it from the right place. However, when you download files using it there is NEVER a gaurentee as the files come from many people all over the world. If your going to use this kind of software make sure you always scan each and every file you download for virus's and spyware. Hope this helps you, good luck

It will also give virus. Better to be on safeside. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

no ti isnt my pc became slow and it behaves weird , it freezes all the time
no lime itself doesnt work any more

its not safe at all anymore,virus,crashes,freezing,shutdowns
unexpectedly,apart when you try to download anything the computer start to get real slow,in other words,a mess!!!
