He is very little and was taken from his mother far too soon. He is lapping formula that we bought. We are mixing it with some canned food. Should I be concerned about anything with a puppy this young and little?

yes that is way to soon but i think that what you are feeding him is good untill like 6 to 7 weeks then wean him!

You need to be feeding him at least every 4-6 hours (around the clock).

Dogs this little have a LOT of trouble regulating their temp and blood sugar. They need to be fed every 4 hours. Should see a vet ASAP!!!
And it is Chihuahua!!!!

he needs to be wormed and make sure he gets enough to eat. Once you start vacc he will need to be socialized to other people and dogs. Also research the breed. Chihuahua is the correct spelling

3 times a day just like humans breakfast lunch and dinner.
