Give it a bowlful of dry food as often as it needs it. If the bowl's empty, refill it. Unless you feel the animal is growing overweight, allow it to eat as much dry food as it feels it needs. Labs are very energetic animals and are likely to want/need an equally large amount of food.

Your lab puppy needs to be given soft puppy food that contains all the ingredients for his or her healthy growth and nutrition and it includes vitamins. On the can it should have a chart, a colum for age, pounds, how much. I recomend Science diet and/or Pedigree and Alpo Hope this is very helpful to you.

Your puppy needs to be given proper canned puppy food which contains all the vital ingredients for his healthy growth and nutrition. You will find full instructions how to feed him, and how much, right there on the can.

Five weeks, my God, he/she still needs its mother. Eight wks
is the expected weening time. He/she needs suckling still. I got
mine at 4 mos. knowing she was emotionally stable. Was
the greatest dog I and my neighbors ever knew. You should make sure you feed soft foods and allow it to pacify its suckling need....just like in an infant. You are responsible for all its need now. Introduce larger food quantities as he/she matures as you see he/she can handle...adding small amounts of dry food each week. Look at the dosage amount on all cans, boxes and bags for ages as it varies from product to product.

I assume the dam tried to kill the puppies or died? That is the only reason to remove puppies from a litter before they are 8 weeks old.
