Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

Because in the last days of this system of things, the Truth of God's Word must be preached to all the nations and then the end will come. And also, so people like you can " jabber, mouth off, rabbit on, rant, rave."

Last year 2006, we "brainwashed" as some of you like to say, 248,327, that became Jehovah's Witnesses and everyone of these had to change their minds pertaining to the false teachings that they had been taught, these were people that used their own Bible, King James, etc., 28,915 were from the United States.

Has your minister, priest or religious leader mentioned this wonderful hope to you? Of course they have not, most clergymen say nothing about it. In fact, many do not even believe the Bible. This is an important reason why Jehovah’s witnesses call at the homes of people of other religions.

When you ask a ??? pertaining to Jehovah's Witnesses, unless a Witness answers your ???, all you receive is a bunch of utter nonsense, lies, they know very little about JW's.

Who are most of these people? Some just hate the teaching of JW's, but many are disfellowshipped, apostates, a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion. Why did they leave or were disfellowshipped, here are some reasons:

Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.

Why don't you people wise up and start acting like a
Christian, isn't that what most of you claim to be?

It all started with Pastor Russell. He realized that Jesus had returned to the earth in 1874 (invisibly) and out of love for God and his fellowman, he wanted to witness about that. Ever since, JW's have been spreading their message.

As JW's will tell you, it is out of love and concern that they witness to people. Take Bill's answer, for example. Can't you just feel the love and concern he has for you, poor lost soul that you are?

Bill's frustration with ministers and priests was shared by Pastor Russell in his day. Although Pastor Russell personally met with a large number of them in his hometown area of Pittsburgh, PA, these 'blind' ministers could not see the 'truth' when he showed them from their own Bibles that Jesus was present in the earth and had been since 1874. They refused to share that wonderful news with their parishoners, just like today. Of course Pastor Russell attributed this to their spiritual blindness, whereas his eyes were opened wide so he could see "clearly" the 'truth' that was in the Bible. We believe that we are the continuation of the Israelites in doing their work by preaching about Jehovah and it was actually brought
together in a congregation in the 30's.

For the same reason all cults and false religions abound. To keep people from the Truth. To confuse and blind the unbelieving world.

To fulfill the prophecy: "Go in through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and few are the people who find it!" (Matthew 7:13-14)

And

"The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the power of Satan. He will use every kind of power, including miraculous signs, lying wonders, and every type of evil to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth that would save them." (II Thessalonians 2:9-10)

Because drunkard Taze Russell had enough drivel to have a few idiots actually follow his teaching, then it snowballed from there. The main reason was money and controling his followers though.

It's just another religion. We don't know how or why for sure but it happened. Some religions start with a guy saying he has message from god or he is god. Why? They need truth.

I am not sure. I am guessing that SATAN needed a way to alter The Bible and get as many souls away from GOD as possible..SO...He created Jehova's Witnesses to do just that.
