Would that it were possible. R&S invites those who engage their passions, but not their minds. Draper T is delusional to believe it's not about hate, but about debate. I've seen more vile expressions of hate here than I care to remember. A little "research" will educate you about which side attacks the most. (I've done some research.) Note: There's nothing more divisive than "I'm on god's side & you're not." I've never hated anyone in my life. It's a wasted (& destructive) emotion, like envy, jealousy.

I don't hate anyone or anything -- life's too short to be filled with hatred.

I do, however, consider it important to continually remind those who are lost that they're wallowing in ignorance and superstition, that there is no evidence of any kind that their beliefs have anything to do with reality, and that intelligent members of the human race outgrew the need for made-up gods to explain thunder and lighting hundreds of years ago.
I'll continue to do that every day, as long as I live -- even tomorrow, Saturnalia :)
Happy Solstice.

Can you?

I may despise what someone believes, but I can't decide to hate or not hate, to love or not love, any person I've never met.

If you are referring to atheists vs believers - it was never 'hating' it is about debate. If you think it is about hate, then you are the one with the problem, and you being religious too!
