Well, I have had my shares-and if they mature-it become at least acquaintances. So, what's your story?

If you have to dump a friend for whatever reason, it is your decision and it really doesn't matter how they take it. I've had to do it and it wasn't easy, however, their actions forced it and I never looked back.

Depends on if you are breaking away because of a lack of common interests or because of some deeper divide on a moral issue.
If it's because of a lack of common interests, chances are pretty good that they are bored with you too, and the breakup won't be anything bad. Best way is to just stop calling each other to do things.
If it's because of a deep divide on a moral issue, then the breakup might get nasty.

I've had some not so great friends I decided not to be friends with because their actions brought me down. they were upset and blammed me as the problem, even though it was not. While we were friends she didn't value our friendship. Eventually we became friends again and she leared her lesson from it.

Just be busy when they call and after a while they will dump you and you do not have to hurt their feelings SO we can make anybody do anything we like by our actions,,,

I have had several people in my life who were supposed to be my friends but just used me and took advantage of my good graces. I just let them know and cut several completely out of my life because they totally stressed me out.

many people dont take it nicely and many people do . its your deciscion , not theirs .... thata about it .
