I have a guy friend I met some months ago. When we were getting to know each other, an attraction developed. I was in another relationship at the time which later ended. My friend wanted us to date but I did not feel ready then so I told him that I felt more comfortable with us being friends. We hang out together alot and we've become close. I still like him and I want to be more than just a pal. I think he feels the same way too but sometimes I get mixed signals. Sometimes he treats me like a regular pal and other times like someone a little more special. I told him how I feel, and gave him time to think about it. I didnt have time to shop for a Xmas gift but I got him a card. He didnt get me anything, and it hurts cuz I'm not his gal but I consider us good friends.Even a simple card would have been ok. I feel so sad and I'm not sure what to do. Should I ask him what he wants again or should I tell him that we should remain just friends?

Well, First of all dont give up. I mean reamber he is attracted to you and which means he probley likes you , So i belevei you should ask him hout againe and to do this here so some tips that will hwlp you get him....

Act like you normally do around him. Be yourself!
Ask him questions about himself. This way you'll learn more about him.
Get a little flirtatious! If you don't know how to flirt, then check out the 'How To Flirt' pages on wikihow.
Once he becomes more talkative, gradually tell him how you feel about him.
Ask him to a movie or something you both enjoy doing. If it makes you uncomfortable to call it a date, just ask him if he wants to 'hang out.' Congratulations, you've asked him out!

and if you whan know if he likes you , then email me...

Well you told him at the beginning when he wanted to date that you didn't think it was a good idea. Now he may be afraid to try again because he does not want to get hurt or lose the friendship that you 2 have.Give it time if you told him you want to to be more than pals now he maybe taking his time so just give it time because good things come to those who wait.
Good Luck

It sounds like your trying to rush into something...let him have a chance to think about it...it could be that maybe he is afaid of rejection and it has nothing to do with you. Don't keep stiring things up, if it is meant to be it will just happen. Personally I think if he hasn't decide one way or another then I would just keep my friendship. Don't keep pressuring him he will come around on his own. Just let it be for awhile who knows it could develop into more then again if you keep pressuring him he could just walk away from the friendship!!

do what your heart tells you, but if he seems not so interested then just remain friends, when he is ready for something else i guess he will let you know. but don't show interest in him so hard,
play hard to get that turns a guy on more. if he really likes you then let him show you, but don't push the issue.

Try to talk to him about what you are feeling...sometimes you do not get a second chance in life, so make the first one count...

It seems like you have brought it to his attention. Just let it ride. He will either come around, or he won't. I wouldn't turn down any good offers though if they come around :)
