I am going on a trip and I'm not sure how much I can pack and how much it can weigh. I don't want to get up there and they say I have too much and have to throw some stuff away or pay more. Plus, I know you are allowed to have a carry-on, but I am not sure how big or what you can bring with you. Also,..what can you do on a plane to pass the time? Thank you! :-)

it depends on the airline and where you are traveling to - some countries have stricter regulations than others. The best thing to do is to check the individual airline's website (if you are flying on more than one, then go with the stricter regulations) - they provide you with weights and dimensions for all your luggage, including carry ons. The biggest thing now is the restriction on toiletries, so make sure you pack according to regulations for your carry on. I have always liked to take a book, a coloring book or activity book (sounds childish but it does work), a deck of cards, and an MP3 player on the plane. I also usually pack something to help me sleep, like Benadryl or Nytol, for longer flights.

As far as the weight of your luggage I would suggest that you contact your airline directly as it varies from airline to airline really depending upon the type of aircraft that you will be traveling in.

In regards to you your carry on luggage I suggest that you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you in your carry on luggage and your checked luggage.

Lastly I always bring my iPod with my to pass the time as well as magazines to read!

Hope this helps and have a great trip!

It particularly relies upon on the airways, however the max weight for terribly just about all are 50 kilos. you've gotten as much as two bags which you examine in that pass below deck. alongside with this, you've gotten one save on and a private merchandise. there's no weight cut back for the carry ons- it quite is extraordinary, yet despite. besides, as for the toiletries, you've gotten in straightforward terms 3oz bottles (and that they must be in zip-lock bags) on your save on. on your examine in bags, there's no 3oz cut back. you've gotten the great length bottles of shampoo, lotion, or despite it must be.
