It has was in Egypt about 2000 BC or longer.

I don't know exactly where it originated, but I do that the religion is what follows it, kind of. Wicca is kind of what christianity is based off of, but they believe in reincarnation and everything in life has a purpose and stuff. But a lot of people persecuted them because they were against the religion of Christianity. I don't know where exactly it originated, but those are the people who follow it.
