the point of this question which all but one of you missed is that a beneficial direct answer requires a pointed concise question. mea culpa. to a 911girl if you asked a question about your god and someone gave you an answer about their god and you were misguided.....well now you see the point? the rest of you are actually making my point. thanx.

It does not matter. Any 'god/God' is delusional to an atheist. If you were Christian/Jew/Muslim or believed that a Dream catcher actually works the answer is the same.
The actual concept of believing with implicit faith without any proof is totally off the wall to an atheist. An atheist will drop a scientific based belief if further scientific proof was found to prove that what he/she believed in was flawed. No religious person will do that. They insist their version is the 'truth' - and that means millions are insisting Christianity is 'truth' why millions of Muslims are doing the same thing.
They cannot all be right can they, so someone has made a big boo boo. The atheist sits on the sidelines, the only one basing his/her believes on actual evidence and not passages out of a dubious document that in itself would not pass any test of 'truth'.

Well most people believe that your beliefs cloud your mind to think logicaly. If you use your beliefs to think about somethings, you use what you believe in to find a way or answer to a predicament. But it is said that if you think logicaly your mine is clear to find an answer, and maybe that answer is the best for the predicament or life generally.

P.S. Hope it helps!

Belief is based on opinions. You believe which ever way you choose to. Logic is reasoning and sways towards the more reasonable argument, not what one thinks is right - but what is right.

Here is the logic of Abraham--the man of faith.

Romans 4

18Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."[d] 19Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. 20Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." 23The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, 24but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Curious, but what difference does the faith make? Just wondering...

Well, usually "God" refers to the Judeo-Christian God, "Allah" to the Muslim God, "FSM" to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and so on and so forth.

Are you saying beliefs are logical? Or logic is based on belief?

All of us believe and observe. It is how we work.

When you beleive in something, you think it's the truth, and you don't care about logics. It's what you think, and what you choose to love.
