I really had to force myself to calm it down when a friend told me that occasionally I DID sign a few words, unintentionally. (I'm much better about it now) How about you?

BuddyL, I was taught that mouthing is a no-no for American Sign Langauge (unless you're signing in English, or another sign language that permits it). After 3 years of sign langauge, I find my self using my hands a lot when speaking; I get teased about it. >_>

Naw.
But I do use my hands a lot elsewhere.
I type a lot, since I write.
And I write with a pen on paper.
Then I draw and paint too.
As well as my guitar and piano.

So I use my hands a lot. But I do have a tendency to indicate things a lot more with my hands when I talk to my friends than they do. I feel like i explain things better that way. hehehe

Merry X'mas!

Nope. But sometimes I mouth words so much when I'm using sign language, that some people think I'm speaking, and wonder why there's no sound.

No, only when I give speeches or presentations ,so the people may think of me as an energetic man that can one day be president :)
