If it was a true time machine it would be capable of going both directions in time, so I would go forward to the point where all religions ceased to exist. Now that would be a biblical incident worth seeing.

When Sarah gave birth to Isaac in her old age and persuaded Abraham (who must have been really under the thumb) to cast out Ismael and Haditha, thereby laying the foundations for the split between Jews and Arabs. I'd have a few choice words to say to the old harridan, none of which would be acceptable to Yahoo!. And I wouldn't take a psychiatrist with me. He'd probably attribute the whole tragic incident to puerperal depression.

I'd like to go the time period and place when whatever authors were writing the document that became known as the Gospel of Mark. These guys invented the entire Jesus story: how amazing it would be to know the inspiration for the Greatest Story Ever Told.

I wasn't raised in the church, so forgive my mixing things up, but I would want to see the part where He was risen. Also, I would want to see the part where he turned stuff from nothing into loaves of bread and wine. Hunger is the enemy of man. If everyone was employed and their families went to bed each night with safe shelter and full stomachs, there would be no more war.

I would like to visit the region of medieval dark ages when Europe was a beggar. If you are more dirty you are more religious and people taking bath were considered as away from religion.

Allah sent the Prophet when the mission of other Prophets had stopped and the peoples were in slumber for a long time. Evils were raising heads, all matters were under disruption and in flames of wars, while the world was devoid of brightness, and full of open deceitfulness. Its leaves had turned yellow and there was absence of hope about its fruits. While water had gone underground. The minarets of guidance had disappeared and signs of destruction had appeared. It was stern to its people and frowned in the face of its seeker. Its fruit was vice and its food was carcass. Its inner dress was fear and outer cover was sword.
So take lesson, O' creatures of Allah, and recall that (evil doing) with which your fathers and brothers are entangled, and for which they have to account. By my life, your time is not much behind theirs, nor have long periods or centuries lapsed between you and them, nor are you much distant from when you were in their loins.
By Allah, whatever the Prophet told them, I am here telling you the same and whatever you hear today is not different from what they heard yesterday. The eyes that were opened for them and the hearts that were made for them at that time, just the same have been given to you at this time. By Allah, you have not been told anything that they did not know and you have not been given anything which they were deprived. Certainly you have been afflicted by a calamity (which is like a she-camel) whose nose-string is moving about and whose strap is loose So in whatever condition these deceitful people are should not deceive you, because it is just a long shadow whose term is fixed.

well, if i had a time machine, in terms of my life i'd like to go back to 1st grade where i was quite popular in school and didnt let things get to me. i would have liked the opportunity to stick up for myself to help prevent all that bullying and teasing i had to put up with for many years. if i had to choose one time though, any time period, i would choose the time of tutankhamun. i find tutankhamun an interesting person to look at. i mean, not evry1 can become the pharaoh of egypy at just nine yrs old and already be married to ankhesamun (his half-sister) and die at a young age (18/19/20 yrs old). i would hav liked to know what happened to him the day that he died. how he died, to be precise. people come up with many theories, and they dont even know the exact age he was when he died. however, if i were to go into an incident from the bible, it would be the time of jesus's death. those evil high priests turned the people against jesus. it's like, who do you think people would more believe? pontius pilate, jesus, or high priests? personally, i'd think they'd more believe the high priests cos they would believe they are more closer to God. at least with me there i could convince the people to turn their backs on the high priests and let them decide for themselves instead of having those types of people trying to convince them to go against jesus. and who knows? mayb the high priests hypnotised the people into turning their backs on jesus. i mean, you dont hear everyone saying to crucify him, you would normally hear two sides. and it would have been good to save jesus from crucifixion. anything to stop all that pain and suffering he went through.
