I challenge him to prevent any rapes from happening for a month.

Is this a reasonable way to disprove his existence? An atheist did the same thing with a chalk (challenged God to stop it from breaking) and it broke every time except when a christian stood up for him, and then it didn't break.

If it is our job, then a) why are we not doing it and b) why do you say God controls everything when he doesn't?

If someone who dislikes you and insults you, then demands you do something which is trivial and demeaning to yourself, would you oblige? No way. So why should God "dance" to the Atheists "tune". Do you think the Atheist will escape being judged by God? If you had to go to court for committing a crime, do you think saying "sorry" will be enough for you to escape punishment? No. The same applies here, it would be much better for the Atheist to make things right with God now while he still has the chance than to wait until it is to late.

Oh... sorry ... I forgot, you wanted to disprove his existence.
I can't see you, but I know you exist because of some writing on the Internet. Look around you, the proof of God's existence is written everywhere.

Man at first my answer was gonna be you're playin with fire, but I think God probably gets these challenges everyday and obviously is an expert at handling these types of things. He seems to be a forgiving type of (for lack of a better word) person. Don't get me wrong I'm no holy roller or devout like anything. I just believe he exists and I don't need some magic trick to prove it. I just know that whenever people are in a bad way the first thing they do is talk to God and I bet you have on certain occasions as well, so you obviously believe in him as well.

first of all you forgot about the free will that every human being has been given by God. what that means is that if a person chooses to go out and do those horrible things, then he has the free will to make that choice and to carry it out. We do not serve a God that created robots! The question is why is it that people choose to do these types of things, and the answer is SIN!! and since we all fall short and sin, we need a Savior. That is how is works. That is the plan! All will be made right when Christ returns and people will get what is coming to them whether good or bad!

The question is did God need the Christian to stand up for him to keep the chalk from breaking? If he did then he’s not the God in the bible. And if he didn’t then why didn’t he keep the chalk from ever breaking? It was to let the Atheist know that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way you can please God. The bible says that God is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. It also says that faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things unseen. Faith is the only way that God will prove himself to man if man rejects all the other ways that God proves himself to him.

obviously most of us agnostics and atheists can concur that the christian god is far from being real, and a bit more like the flying spaghetti monster. but, i do in fact believe that there is a higher power, not some guy in the sky, but a higher power of some sort, im thinking more scientific. and yes it is a reasonable way to disprove his existence. if according to the christian religion, god is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent, then there should be no evil in the world, yet there is, meaning one of these three must be wrong. but the christian religion claims that he has to be all three of these, thus the christian god cannot exist.

You can challenge him but your wasting your time. God quit responding like that in the old testament he did it to convince his choosen people that he was in covenant to them. He has already did the greatest miricle of all time, anything else would pale to that. If you really want to challege him why not ask him into your heart as your lord and savior, pray to him and tell him your willing to totally submitt to his will. You will be amazed at the changes that take place in your life. I guess the question is are you up for the challenge?

First off you don't challenge God...read your bible. Second, Satan has been given the rule of the world that we know. Therefore it is not God doing that anything bad happens. I think your idea of preventing rapes is fantastic, but the best you can do is pray that is does not happen. As long as Satan is around ...bad things will happen.

The only thing you can ask God to prove himself on is money. If you would read the bible you would see that.
