Hmmm....hard question. It would really depend on who you are. I personally use a lot of sarcasm when it comes to humor, and some people find this hilarious, and others find it depressing. It really depends on who you are.
If you were to sit down in front of me randomly and ask me to make you smile, Id say that I didnt know how. Making a person smile, and making them happy is something that is really personal to you...and there really is no way for me to know how to make you smile without knowing you, and somethings about your past.

Well, I've been told that I am witty, funny, understanding, kind, good with children, generous to a fault, forgiving and loving. Oh cute and a good kisser.
I've never failed to make a companion smile in all my years of dating... I can be silly, sarcastic, and react with humor to most of lifes challenges...
So, I'm guessing that I could probably make you smile...
But who knows... I'd have to meet you or chat with you to have the opportunity.
