you and I understand logos in different terms and usage. Rhema and logos is given by the Lord to His people
EDIT:
I cannot response to your email since it won't go through.
answer to email:
sort of...Logos and Rhema is often used in the same sense. Some see them as (logos) as written word (Rhema) as spoken word from God.
Both from Greek.........
For me Rhema and logos is:
God inparting knowledge to me through the presence of Him in power such as revelation, and the other knowledge being made through His written word in a powerful way.
But, hey thats me.
Each from the Holy Spirit or by God Himself....I don't know. I just know its there and who the author is.
TTC......be of good cheer
If you never read anything in your life outside of the bible, you are safe. The reason being is that you are guided through this by the Hand of God. Regardless if you think mans attempt was feeble in actual words, it does not change the power of God to be able to speak through this written word. The word itself is dimensional and forever changing into deeper meanings of God Himself. The word is not limited by man but given unlimited power through God.

Jesus, in his Pre-human existence as the Logos, was a humble and obedient Son of God. He did not attempt to exalt himself, or to seek a name higher than his own, as Lucifer did. He had no intention of making himself an equal with his heavenly Father. The apostle Paul expresses this thought about the Logos, and says: “Who, though being in God’s form, yet did not meditate a usurpation to be like God, but divested himself, taking a bondman’s form, having been made in the likeness of men; and being in condition as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:6-8)
Lucifer is still a creature rather than the Creator (logos), and when he aspired to be more than a creature he sinned, and this was long before the Garden of Eden. Evil comes from when make our own moral choices, which apparently extends to the Angels as well. Yes, God could have made us incapable of sin. But then we'd be less than human. We would like robots, or puppets, incapable of making free moral choices. We can choose to love God, or we choose to ignore or defy him. Evil comes from the latter and we are all capable of it!

I'm not sure if I want to try to straighten this out or not. It could get really extensive, but I'll try to keep it breif. Man was created by the Logos. Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the Logos in the seed of Abraham (the flesh that descended from Abraham).
We wouldn't even know that the Logos was in the beginning before creation were it not for John the first chapter. But that passage tells us that the Logos was "pros" God, and the Logos was God. This is referring to the unity of the Trinity - the triune being of God. The Greek word, "pros" means facing toward. In other words, God the Father and the Logos, His Son Jesus Christ were sitting there in eternity looking at each other, fellowshipping with each other.
So what is the Logos, anyway? The Logos is the IMAGE of God. The Logos is the same word that we get "logo" from, a logo is a picture. An image. He created man in His image, O.K.? Still with me? Jesus Christ came to reveal the Father. He is the expressed image of His person. He is the fulness of the Godhead (the Trinity) bodily. I'm not listing the scripture references for all these passages, you can look them up with a concordance. All things were created by Him (the Logos, Jesus) and for Him. So anyhow, when God the Father said, "Let's make man in our image and after our likeness," He was talking to Jesus the Logos. And the Logos spoke..."Let there be" and there was. Words and images go together. That's why I can say, "icecream bicycle" and immediately you see that.
The term "universe" means, "one word" or "one statement." Why? Because the Logos spoke and all things were created. That's the power of God.
God created man, because man would be the image of God in the earth, to express His glory, and to share His dominion. To be His creative expression of Himself. To be His child, His offspring. Someone to share existence with. For fellowship. All of these things. He already had the angels, but they weren't just like Himself. He already had a leader of the worship and praises being sung to Him in heaven, that was Lucifer, "the bright one." Unfortunately, he wasn't all that "bright" if you know what I mean. Because He decided to challenge God's authority, and wanted to overthrow God and exalt himself above God's dominion. I don't know how he thought he was going to pull that off, but that's what got him kicked off of the worship team.
Apparently, God gave satan (once named Lucifer) the freedom of choice, just as He did to our parents, Adam and Eve. Because He chose to rebell agaist God, rather than submit to His authority and worship Him (the purpose for which he was created). So anyhow, satan became corrupt and was ousted out of heaven, landing on earth. Why did God put satan on earth, which He had created in perfection and splendor? I don't really know. Maybe He didn't put Him on earth, maybe he snuck in through the back door. You'll have to ask the Lord that yourself.
The bottom line is that we are not qualified to judge God, because we don't know everything - He does. But Adam and Eve were given their orders, not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but they with a little bit of persuasion from satan decided to do it anyway, and that has wound the whole lot of us into a big old heap of mess.
Now, I don't claim to know everything, but this is what the Bible teaches us. I'm convinced that God has not told us all the details, but He has given us more than enough to base our decisions upon. The bottom line is, we have been given a Savior - Jesus Christ - that has paid for our sins to right the wrong that was made. We have to choose to receive that salvation, it is our decision to do that. Just as much as it was Lucifer's decision to rebell, and Adam and Eve's choice to rebell. We have the choice now to either obey or rebell.
The tree was not placed in the garden to trap satan. It was not put there to trap Adam and Eve for that matter. it was always God's hope that they would do as He said, and choose Him over the alure of the tree. Because it would have been impossible for them to have a legitimate decision to choose Him, if there was not an alternative presented. So it wasn't the fruit itself mind you, it was the fact that that they had chosen an alternative to God - thus rejecting Him.
That's as short as I can make it. Could give you the scripture references to back it all up, but I would be here the rest of the evening answering this question if I did. Hope it helps.
God Bless.
