Ducks have a very high proportion of fat to meat- they let off a lot as they roast. Unless you want the smoke detectors going off...be prepared to tend it. You need a turkey baster to get the liquified hot fat out of the pan.

There is not much meat on them...they roast pretty quick. Be aware they are usually sold frozen and usually have giblets and a sauce pack inside!

All that under consideration....20 mins per pound at 375 oughta do it.

1. shoot the duck
2. cook the duck using a special duck marinade (found in most grocery stores
3. cook at a high temperature in the oven
4. eat the duck
5. have a good christmas
