I posted a comment about my friend who had no children and her unwanted advice for me. I think people didn't get the whole story. I got upset with her cuz my kids were acting up (like climbing on tables) in the restaurant where we had lunch. Her advice was for me to ignore them she knows cuz she watches supernanny...I told her that I was sick of people who don't have children giving unwanted advice to mothers. I don't think people should impose their opinions on others especially when I didn't ask for it and when I was already aggitated with my kids who didn't want to listen. The whole incident sparked some bad childhood memory of her mother. So for some respondent who said I should listen to her...well I won't. I admit I don't know everything about parenthood and will seek advice when warranted; however, for someone who lacks experience in children and who's only bad experience is her own childhood, I won't seek advice from her. It's like asking a homeless man for financial advice.

Obviously my kids don't act like that in restaurants normally or else why would I bring them? You need to get the fact straight. I was trying to stop them that is why I was aggitated. The restaurant wasn't even my idea and I was ready to leave. So yeah if I don't have any manners for telling her off then so be it.

I'm with you. People who give parenting advice when it is not asked for drive me up the wall. They all need to go jump in a hole.

You obviously needed advice if your children were climbing on tables and generally misbehaving in a resturant, which is a public place that other people pay to go to have fun. Children like that often ruin the experience and are very annoying. How you would allow your children to behave so is unbelievable and to admonish someone who was just trying to help out and take out your fustration on her is unpardonable.

Have some manners. Isnt she your friend?

after reading the 2nd. comment, i find the anger in ur voiced words. the indignation is the same as a commanding officer have-ing his order's be-ing ?'ed . the ego is the one in command here not the human being. it is not the mother or even a nanny as u folks call them. how old are these kid's? since i am an American [should not matter,but.....] plus i am male. do u think i have no justifiable opinion? but back to the origin, this seems to be ur wake up call to the problem in hand. ur lack of control. ur inability to control for what ever [many reasons]. it will never be that easy as just one. be of good char-actor and look to the real person ur are and make the adjustments apologise to ur self for lie-ing . because it is ur self that Will suffer ,then ur kids, etc, etc.

I'm a child and my best advice to you is to give them a reward if they be good BUT if they are bad they get a punishment.
