Say I have enough miles on Continental for one flight in the US and enough miles on United to fly four of five family members in the US. So now I want to trade the Continental miles for United miles so the family can fly together. Is there any web site that puts that all together?

points.com is a place to start looking but unfortunately, whenever you trade miles back and forth between airlines, you lose a lot in the process. You might be better off just flying separately for the trip unless you will be earning a lot more miles in the near future. Also you may end up taking separate planes anyway; airlines limit how many tickets can be purchased using miles on any one flight and it may be pretty hard to find one flight with 5 reward seats open. Good luck though!

Care to Trade has a new category where you can trade frequent flier miles. It's free, so you can list your points or the miles you need here http://www.caretotrade.com/browse.php?fatherID=97
