You broke up for a reason and if you feel that you have a chance to be with Chris then that's the one you go for.
First, ask Chris out, and if he likes you as well he will. If not then you can take a few days to think things over and see if you still want your ex back. In any case you should make your ex wait a little so you can take some times to think it over.

Well your ex is an ex for a reason right? If you love Chris then you will let your ex go and be with him. If you really do love him. You found someone else, right? Your ex can find someone too.

Your ex is an "ex" for a reason. You're not together for reasons only you know. But I would tell your ex that your time together has passed and just move on.

don't break up with your currant bf unless you are 110% sure that it is the right thing to do. you did break up with u'r ex for a reason. i broke up with my bf and went out with a guy who i love dearly but broke up with him cause i wanted to get back with my ex. [long story having to do with camp] but anyways it hurt them both. i am with him still, but i always regret it a little. the boy i love dearly is my best friend still and always will be. he has a new gf and i'm happy for him but still wonder wut would have been different.
