Girls always get short haircuts for a "change" and girls are the only one who think it looks "cute"
Some girls look nice with short hair, but I have never met one that wouldn't look cuter and way sexier with longer hair. Ask just about any guy.
I think pig tails are hot as hell on a girl, but that's just a personal preference.
There will be plenty of time for short "cute" easy to take care of hairstyles after you are married and in your late 40s to 50s.

Look at Victoria Secret and Fredricks of Hollywood catalogs... they all have the same haircut of differing lengths. I assume that must be the media tested "hottest" cut and look.

I love the 50's and 60's look, with the flip and the pooched up hair. Its all starting to come back again.

hmmmmmm...
well i dont no about hottest but a hairstyle that evrybody wood probly look best in is layers. but not to short. about medium length. it is easy to style and can be in almost ne style. i have layers. :-)
