I know it's popular with the kids these days, but those very loud stereo music blasts by at all hours of the night, and I can't sleep with all that racket. It's so loud that it rattles pictures off the walls. When did kids get to are so little about their neighbors, when did disturbing the peace become so popular. Have the morals of the youth deteroirated so much that peace and quiet means nothing, no to mention a good nights sleep?

It's true those rude kids don't care at all about our feelings, they play that awful racket at all hours. Why shouldn't we call the police, they don't seem to care about our feelings? It's a sure sign of the poor moral character of today's youth!

I think disturbing the peace has always been popular. If kids in the past had high powered car audio they would have been doing the same thing. Society really doesn't change that fast, but technology does.
I do agree that it's annoying--as I write this there is a car outside blaring something unmistakably crappy that is easily audible from where I sit. But what annoys me more are the Harley riders that rev their engines specifically to set off car alarms. And the super loud exhaust systems that are more and more popular on any kind of vehicle. Why is louder better? I think it's a look-at-me mentality.

When I lived in big cities I got tiny little earplugs that filter all sorts of noise. They help you sleep, you can buy them for $15/pair in any pharmacy.

Go and talk with them....they might don't think they are bothering you....just talk very relax and don't complain...you might want to say: I know you are having fun and want to feel happy....It makes me happy too but can you turn the stereo down just for a little bit please?? Iam sure they will listen....
