It's not new.
Long hair for guys has always been the style, with three notable exceptions:
1. During the Norman occupation of England, when long hair would have been entangled in one's chain maille (ow!);
2. Since WWI, in military service, to keep down head lice (eew!);
3. In modern times, to *appear* to be preventing head lice (EEEW!!).
The current fashion for appearing bald (or nearly so) has only been popular for about 12 years. Thanks god it's on the way out, and guys will soon stop looking as if they had joined the Hitler Youth.

i dono but i think it is really sexy. at my school there are alot of guys with long hair at my school so i guess i'm just used 2 it and it dosn't bother me b/c i think it's hot
