That is kind of stupid in my honest opinion. If a person can love, care and provide for a child, being turned down for being overweight is just plain stupidness. Adoption is a hard process and sometimes the most deserving of people wait years and years, and some deserving people never get the joys of children. Being overweight should have no issue in an adoption. Now, if the overweight person was unhealthy, had severe medical problems ect....then thats different. Otherwise, overweight people should have every right slimmer people do, and have just as much chance to adopt a child.

Absolutely fine, some people are not overweight by choice, sometimes there's medical reasons involved but it can be treated. I mean there's no reason why they can't, anyone can die at any given time, just because someone is healthier than someone else, it doesn't mean anything. And, you don't always take after your parents habits if they are unhealthy.
The question that needs to be asked is....Will these children really be in a better enviornment if they stay in an orphanage where they never develope REAL loving relationships, are they better off in foster homes where there is no stability and right after they get comfortable they have to leave and go to a new home again? To me, an overweight person can provide just as much love as anyone else can.

Why not let overweight people provide a loving stable home for a child that someone doesn't want? This is a strange question. The child will no doubt be well fed and I'm sure very loved. People who seek to adopt just want to love a child. Being overweight has nothing to do with how much love you can give.

There are good and bad parents of all different sizes, shape, color and etc. Why would you base a persons parenting skills on the size of their body? I understand that you may be thinking that they are unhealthy, so they will raise the adopted child to be unhealthy also. But you can be healthy at different weights, and you never know the reason of the weight being there in the first place.
Don't be so fast to judge...please.

Yes. Why wouldn't it be? Is it OK for ugly people to adopt children? Or how about atheists? It is fine for all different types of people to adopt. Unless you are the judgmental type.
