I'm going to church tonight because church is good for kids and I have two of them. I am also going because I have friends there and feel at home there. I'm also going because my wife really likes it there and her life is centered with this family and with that particular church. I think it makes me a better person, too. And it conforts me to believe that God exists and I especially like Jesus' message for mankind. It would be great if more people listened to it. And I'm going because it's Christmas and I like the Christmas service. It's a tradition and traditions are special and make life more fulfilling.
Am I sorry for my sins. Not particularly. I certainly sin, but they aren't terrible and I just know I'm human and humans do it. If I hurt someone and feel bad for hurting that person, I apologize. I try to be a decent person and I'm successful most of the time. I follow Christ's message for the most part, but not completely. Who can? I'll be at church next week just like I was last week.

I won't be going to church since I don't go during the year. Only hypocrites go to church twice a year (Christmas and Easter). Anyway, I am at work...providing services for all the last minute idiots who suddenly realized it is Christmas tomorrow....

I dont attend church ever, so I am not going to make myself a hypocrite by going tonite.
I do worship Jesus in my heart everyday of the year, and that wont change either.

I don't go to church to let God forgive my sins, I just pray and beg for forgiveness. Everyone should do that.

I didn't actually understand your question, this should answer your question:
God says in the final revelation...Qur' an
"O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Do not despair of the Mercy of God: for God forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Turn to your Lord (in repentance) and bow to His Will, before the Penalty comes upon you: after that you shall not be helped. (Az-Zumar, 53-54)
God accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them God will turn in mercy: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom. Of no avail is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now I have indeed; repented indeed" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them We have prepared a most grievous punishment. (An-Nisa, 17-18)
We sent Our Messengers with the Clear Signs and sent down the Book and the Balance with them so that mankind might establish justice… (Surat al-Hadid: 25)

I am sorry for my sins, but the only reason I'm going tonight is because my great grandma asked my mom to make us go to her church. So my mom is making me go.

We all have sinned. And I am sorry for that, especially mine. It is Jesus birthday. This is cause for celebration, but even more so when He rose from death !
