I'll tell you why. It's because today everybody knows too much and has too much. Kids grow up getting everything they want, and by the time they are 20 years old they have seen and done too much for any person to make them happy.
How is some guy who makes $10 an hour going to please a girl who grew up with parents who bought expensive gifts for her, and took her on lavish vacations every year? She has simply been spoiled by knowing too much of what is out there, and experiencing too much of life. The poor kid has no chance to compete with this, EVEN if he has a good personality. If that same girl grew up never having been anywhere, never knowing what the internet is, and getting a gift once in a blue moon, that 20 year-old kid would be very intriguing to her. Why do you think that people 50 years ago had an easier time finding love and staying married?

It's hard to find love for many reasons, but the main reason is you wouldn't even know you found it unless you had something to compare it to. Sometimes we have to keep finding the wrong people in our life to know when the right one comes along. You're tried and your hurt, then when that one does come along you're so thankful for that person that you cherish them and everything cliques and it all begins to make sense. Another thing too is people don't want to work things out anymore, it's become way too acceptable and easy to give up on a relationship when in actuallity, nothing runs smoothly, a relationship consists of people working together and making their dreams come true, and now we live in a world where we want a "perfect life" and a "quick fix", then we walk around wondering why we're so unhappy and without love.

The right one will come along, once you're ready to put time and effort into a relationship and you're ready to share yourself.

Love is hard to come by because there are so many people that are scared, confused, unsure, and just plain rude. Most people mistake crushes for love. After doing this they might make decisions that they think will make them happy but because their feelings aren't what they thought they were, it doesn't work out. In my opinion its hard because there arent many people actually looking for it the only thing they are looking for is sex. So when they look for someone they are going for a good looking body for a one night stand and the ones looking for true love dont want anything to do with someone who has been up and down the street fifty times.

then Love your Higher Power (What ever that may be) Then bring "Real Love" into your life ... how do you do that you ask ? Most people you know give IMITATION LOVE not REAL LOVE. Has anyone ever told you that they like you (love you) and you did not reciprocate ? Why not, love is a Miracle the biggest gift one can give another living being. REAL LOVE is about how you can enhance someone else happiness. I am not saying that you will make someone else happy, for happiness is something that comes from within us just like sadness comes from within us. All we can do is enhance someone else happiness. Getting two human being to do that at all times is difficult, but doable, BOTH must want to give REAL LOVE, not the love that we are accustom seeing with conditions ... stings attached to it. As soon as you give REAL LOVE the right one will navigate to you.
